What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and the service worker cache (when you install the dashboard as an app, it stores the app's own files, not your data). Together they let the site work, remember preferences and (with consent) help us understand how the product is used.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: the authentication session and language preference. The site does not work without them.
- Functional: remember choices you made so the experience stays consistent.
- Analytics and marketing: not used. If we ever add them, they will be blocked until you consent.
Cookie table
Vendmint runs on two surfaces: the marketing site at vendmint.com and the logged-in panel at app.vendmint.com. They set different cookies, so we list them separately.
Marketing site — vendmint.com
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Vendmint | Remembering your language | 1 year | Necessary |
App / panel — app.vendmint.com (behind login)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session | Vendmint | Keeping you signed in | Session | Necessary |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Vendmint | Remembering your language | 1 year | Necessary |
| vm_impersonate | Vendmint | Support mode: a signed session for an administrator acting within a user account during support (see the Privacy Policy) | Up to 1 hour | Necessary |
Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in providing a working service. We use no analytics or marketing cookies; if we introduce them, they will be set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Consent
Vendmint sets only strictly necessary cookies, so there is no consent banner. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will block them until you accept them through a consent banner with granular choice and the ability to withdraw at any time.
Managing cookies
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Tracking in the stores you build
If you add tracking pixels (Meta, TikTok, GA4, GTM and similar) to a store built on Vendmint, they are configured by you and run in your store. Obtaining valid consent for them in your store is your responsibility, not ours.
