Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, withdrawal and refunds work for your Vendmint subscription and credits. This covers what you pay us, not the refunds you give your own customers.

The general rule

In short: a refund is possible in the cases described below, but it never covers used credits. Every generation you run means a real AI-model cost we incurred at your request — so the value of used credits is always deducted from any refund.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We do not refund a renewed period pro rata once it has started — to avoid a renewal, cancel before the renewal date.

Consumer withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer (or a sole trader for whom the purchase is not of a professional character), you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your first purchase without giving a reason.

During account activation you request that the service starts before the withdrawal period ends. Because of that, on withdrawal we refund the price minus the value of what was already performed: a proportional part of the fee for the days the service was active, plus the value of the credits used up to the moment of withdrawal. Subsequent renewals of the same subscription are not a new distance contract and do not open a new withdrawal period.

Credits

  • Plan-allowance credits are part of your subscription and follow the rules above — on withdrawal, their usage is deducted from the refund.
  • Purchased credits (when offered for sale): a consumer can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days; we refund the value of unused credits and deduct the value of credits already used. After 14 days the purchase is non-refundable.
  • The unit value of a credit for deduction purposes follows the price at which it was acquired: for plan-allowance credits it is the plan price divided by the number of credits in its monthly allowance, and for purchased credits it is the per-credit price — in both cases per the pricing page at the time of purchase. The deduction equals the number of credits used multiplied by their unit value — you can calculate it yourself from the balance history in your account settings.
  • Credits that have been used are never refundable, in any case.
  • Promotional credits granted free of charge have no monetary value and are non-refundable.

Example refund calculation

An illustrative example — the binding figures are always the pricing-page prices at the time of purchase. The consumer bought a subscription at USD 19/month with a 150-credit allowance (credit value: 19 ÷ 150 ≈ USD 0.127) and additionally purchased 100 credits at USD 0.15 each (USD 15). They withdraw from both purchases on day 5 of a 30-day period, having used 40 plan-allowance credits and 20 purchased credits.

Business customers

The statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers and to sole traders for whom the purchase is not of a professional character. Other businesses have no right of withdrawal; any refunds outside these rules are considered case by case.

How we issue refunds

Purchases are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so refunds go back to the original payment method via Paddle. We issue refunds promptly, no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement. You can also submit a refund request directly to Paddle via their buyer support (paddle.net), and we honour it under this policy.

What this does not cover

This policy covers refunds between you and Vendmint. Refunds and complaints towards your end customers are governed by your own store policy, which you set and operate.

How to make a request

Manage your subscription from the billing portal. To withdraw from the contract or request a refund, write to support@vendmint.com from the email address on your account — an unambiguous statement is enough; the statutory model form is not required. We aim to respond within a few business days.
