Vendmint vs Shopify

No cut of your sales, no theme off a list

You never pay the platform per order, and your storefront isn't the same one a thousand other shops are running.

0%

of your sales goes to us

You connect your own Stripe account and pay Stripe alone. Vendmint takes nothing per transaction.

+2%

is what Shopify Basic adds for your own gateway

Want to charge through your own Stripe instead of Shopify Payments? Stripe's fee stays, and Shopify writes its own on top.

$9

is the Vendmint subscription

The cheapest Shopify plan with a store of your own is $39 a month.

Set your monthly orders and average order value. We add up the subscription plus payment fees — on our side you only ever pay Stripe, because we take nothing per sale.

$30per month

$360 per year · against Basic with Shopify Payments

Vendmint is cheaper at any volume — both the subscription and the individual order cost less.

Against Basic with your own Stripe the gap grows to $138 a month.

Rates as of August 2026, from the Shopify and Stripe price lists for the US. Shopify Payments on Basic is 2.9% + 30¢ and the third-party gateway fee is 2%. Stripe: cards 2.9% + 30¢. International cards, currency conversion and chargebacks cost more on both — check the current price lists before deciding.

Four things we do differently

You describe changes instead of hunting for them

"Move the reviews above the description and put them in two columns" replaces an evening in the theme editor. No Liquid, no app for every small thing.

There is no ceiling on the design

No section is locked and nothing stops at whatever the theme author imagined. Any part of the page can be generated again from scratch.

The basics are included, not sold as apps

Multiple languages, Meta, TikTok and GA4 pixels, storefront analytics, your own domain and team access ship with every plan. None of it is a separate monthly line.

Your backend stays if you want it to

Run products and orders here, or leave them on Shopify or WooCommerce and connect that as the backend. Either way the storefront is ours.

Dropshipping with DSers

Dropshipping? DSers connects

DSers has no official Vendmint integration yet, but it has a route built for exactly this case: you upload your orders as a CSV, DSers places them on AliExpress and hands back the tracking numbers. Their own guide covers it. Our order export is shaped for that format, so the loop closes without touching orders one at a time.

DSers guide
  1. Order in Vendmint
  2. CSV to DSers
  3. Fulfilled from AliExpress
  • Orders export as a CSV in the format DSers accepts.
  • DSers places them on AliExpress and returns the tracking numbers.
  • The catalogue and the storefront are built here, without a theme half the niche is running.

Rather not touch your current process? Connect Shopify as the backend and replace only the storefront in Vendmint — DSers then works exactly as it does today.

Move your store before the next invoice

We do the move for you and charge nothing for it — catalogue, design, payments and domain are on us.
